Las Vegas Nightlife Planning Guides

Dress code

Nightclubs and Strip clubs often have a dress code that they enforce. There is nothing more embarrassing than waiting in line to get in a club and then be turned away because you’re not dressed properly. The purpose of dressing well at these places is to attract attention and of course be seen as attractive. Shorts, torn clothes, sneakers, flip flops and T-shirts are NOT OK!!!

If you must wear a shirt without a collar such as a T-shirt or pull over, dress it up with a jacket. Suitable dresses, skirts, blouses, button down shirts, slacks, jeans and jackets are all okay. The term “business casual” is often used to describe proper dress for these occasions. It means simply, pressed jean or slacks, a long or short-sleeved button down shirt and closed toe leather shoes.

As far as the pool is concerned the less you wear the better!!. As crazy as this sounds you MAY be denied entry if you are wearing pants, slacks, collared shirts or boots.

Street guys

What is a street hustler?

If this is your first trip our city, then please be fore warned of street hustlers. These “street guys” as we like to call them pose as nightclub representatives and walk every corner of the strip looking for tips. They operate by stealing nightclub passes from distribution locations all over the city and attempt to sell them to any tourist willing to give them money.

As a word to the wise, if anyone ever asks you for money during your stay without services rendered, do not give them a dime as you will regret your choice that same night as you attempt to enter the venue of choice. The easiest way to spot these street guys is to always ask for a business card to prove they have an honest relationship with the nightclub or if they ask for some kind of payment now.
